We were absolutely blow away by Korosten! We had heard about a cave bunker museum but nothing about the wonderful park just next to it! Spend a day here and enjoy the town and relax!

This was a little town that really impresses. The city center is very nice. There is a park filled with statues and fountains. The park follows along a river filled with boulders creating a dramatic setting. There is also a interesting military museum along the river. They have tanks and artillery pieces outside to view and then there is the focal point, The Rock. It is a labyrinth of tunnels and rooms built in the granite hillside. Said to be able to withstand a nuclear blast this museum is a cant miss for Military enthusiasts.
