Klevan Castle

Another castle that looked great on the outside but as we entered it was just an abandoned castle left to nature to reclaim. You can drive into the courtyard, but be careful going through the buildings as the roof has collapsed on most of them. The floors are rotting away and nothing is stable. 

Completed in 1561 the castle is in ruins now. It didn’t last long as it lost its defensive purposes and was given away in 1632. For a long time it was used as a Polish school.
